Berman Home Systems custom installs Sonos whole house music systems. Sonos is the future of home audio. With this system you can add music to any room you wish, even outside. Typical connected rooms include kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms and patios, which are outfitted with a state-of-the-art speakers system for crystal clear audio. As other audio systems do, Sonos can access the music you already have stored on your computer but what sets it apart is that it is connected to the internet through your home router. With other systems you are stuck listening to the music you own that you are already tired of. But with Sonos you immediately have access to millions of songs as well as most of the radio stations in the world, all from the palm of your hand, and now available to control through your smartphone or tablet, including iPhone, iTouch, iPad, and Droid devices.

The pictures above and below show a typical configuration. The cable modem and router are located together in utility space. Any future appliance, device or utility requiring internet access can be easily connected. All telephone and cable TV points are bundled together and labelled in a neat clean manner.

Brassworks, Montclair
Brassworks Building located at 105 Grove Street, Montclair NJ is a rehabilitated brass factory. This building contains 16 office suites. This project was designed by John Reimnitz Architecture and built by Jack Finn and Company. Berman Home Systems was responsible for all electronic entry systems, video surveillance, fire security, computer network and telephone wiring in each suite as well as future proofing so that upcoming technologies do not detract from the beauty of this building.

About Us
Born and raised in Verona, NJ, Robert Berman co-founded Counter Action Security in 1983, which dealt solely with home security systems. He worked hard to personalize each system to the clients’ unique needs, giving them a peace of mind that their home and possessions are safe and secure. Over the course of the next three decades, Robert applied this mindset while creating Berman Home Systems, which expanded and broadened his expertise to include TV and home theater as well as audio systems, and most recently Sonos whole house audio. Rob continues to put his costumers’ needs first, always working with them until they are completely satisfied.
